The installation « Letters from a seducer » explores the metaphysical implications of new forms of self-representation generated by the emergence of smartphone technology and the ways in which they reshape means of being and communicating : what kind of seduction is at play? And who or what is seducing who? Inspired by the mythology of Ancient Egypt and the tales of their magical relationship to images, this installation comprises a series of performative works that explore the shifting relations between the virtual and the physical in the hypermediated now and the new cartographies of desire that are being drawn therein.
